Obituary for Joyce Colleen Martin

Joyce Colleen Martin was born on March 25, 1934 to George and Pearl (Seabolt) Loveless in Chelsea, Oklahoma. She departed this life on April 14, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Joyce attended Lone Chapel School for eight years before attending Adair High School, where she was involved in several activities and graduated with the class of 1952. Joyce married Bill Propp on June 10, 1952, and from this marriage four children were born; Kathy, Chell, Leisa and Lori. Joyce worked in the home most of her life; she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also worked the farm, baling hay and milking cows. Joyce attended Big Cabin First Baptist for several years and loved playing the piano and organ for the church.
She enjoyed taking drives, sightseeing, antiquing and bird watching. She also loved flowers and all things pink. She was an avid fan of her children and grandchildren’s competitions of any kind. Spending time with and taking care of her family was most important to her. Family was her whole world. Joyce was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include one son, Chell Propp and wife Susan of Adair; two daughters, Lori Stout and husband Steve of Collinsville and Kathy Eby and husband Randy of Prague; two sisters, Gayle Hendrickson and husband Billy of Adair and Jan Harris and husband Michael of Adair; grandchildren, Lesley Birdwell, Joanie Sliger, Chance Riley, Carson Stout, Cayden Stout, Annie Stout, Ethan Propp, Angie Boston, Emily Hood, Bo Potts, Chad Potts, Malissha Potts and Brady Potts; eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Loveless; her husband Ralph Martin; one daughter, Leisa Potts; one sister, Jill Loveless; one nephew, Joey Hendrickson and a special aunt and uncle, Pete and Gladys Loveless.
